Ravensburger made several new announcements about Disney Lorcana Wednesday morning, including future set release dates and information about the competitive circuit.
Future Disney Lorcana Sets Release Dates
Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn both launched last year. The next set will be Into the Inklands, launching on February 23, 2024, at local game stores and Disney Parks, and then on March 8 at mass retailers and on shopDisney.
The names of future sets haven’t been announced but we now know when three more sets will be released in 2024, via ComicBook.com.

Gen Con takes place August 1 through 4, 2024, so the August set may very well be released early at the convention.
Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway
Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway is a new standalone product that will also be released on August 9. It is a “progressive learn-to-play experience” designed to teach players how to play Disney Lorcana. It starts with two 30-card Disney Lorcana decks (a standard deck is 60 cards). Players will add more cards to each deck as they learn about card types and gameplay, so by the time they complete Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway, they will have two complete standard decks. Disney Lorcana TCG Gateway will retail for $24.99.
Disney Lorcana Competitive Circuit
ComicBook.com shared information about the competitive circuit, which will launch in May 2024. A North American Championship and a European Championship are both scheduled for the 2024 holiday season and an “invite-only” World Championship will take place during a larger open event next year. Ravensburger will host regional events at which players can qualify for the North American and European Championships.
Ravensburger also announced Set Championships, a new type of in-store organized event based on the new sets. The first Set Championship will be in April 2024 after the release of Into the Inklands. Stores will host an Into the Inklands Championship with an exclusive Enchanted Stitch – Rock Star promo card (pictured above) available.
The top two players in an Into the Inklands Championship will also win a playmat featuring the Enchanted Stitch – Rock Star artwork (pictured above).
Stores will be able to sign up to host Set Championships starting in February.
