A new Starbucks Discovery Series mug featuring Disneyland Park has arrived, featuring iconic attractions, treats, and more that guests love.
We found the mug available at Market House on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, the park’s Starbucks location.
Disneyland Park Starbucks Discovery Series Mug – $24.99
The mug comes packaged in a black Starbucks Discovery Series box with lid for easy gift-giving.
The mug is a cream color, with art accents in shades of yellow, pink, and purple. This section of the mug’s art features a Tiki Room Drummer, Sleeping Beauty Castle with fireworks overhead, Sorcerer Mickey, a Mickey ice cream bar and DOLE Whip, and a Mickey ear hat. The Disneyland Park logo is set against a large yellow circle.
Turning the mug, we can spot art of the Disneyland Railroad, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Haunted Mansion, the smiling clock face from “it’s a small world,” a spinning teacup from Mad Tea Party, and Peg-Leg Pete, also known as the Barker Bird, representing Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Peg-Leg Pete character was once stationed outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, where he would greet guests as they entered the queue. He was present from when the ride opened in 1973 until 2006, when characters from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films were added. A new tavern is in development for Walt Disney World featuring the bird.
The final section of the mug features art of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye and a snake from Indiana Jones Adventure, Matterhorn Bobsleds, the Millennium Falcon to represent Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the statue of J. Thaddeus Toad from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and a bucket of popcorn.
The inside of the mug is glazed a soft pink to match the art on the outside. It is dishwasher- and microwave-safe and can hold up to 14 fluid ounces, or 414 milliliters.
Disneyland Park Starbucks Discovery Series Mug Ornament – $19.99
If you’re a collector of ornament-sized mugs from Starbucks, you’ll be happy to know that there is one available for this design as well. It is the same as its larger counterpart, but has a silky pink string attached to the mug’s handle for hanging. It also comes in a Starbucks Discovery Series box.
