During a recent visit to Disneyland Resort, we spotted 10 new pairs of Minnie ear headbands throughout property, including designs inspired by Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Disney Princesses, Play in the Park, and more.
Rechargeable Light-Up Disneyland Resort Icons Ear Headband – $39.99
This acrylic ear headband features two clear ears with colorful designs of Disneyland Resort icons on either ear. A silky blue bow is attached at the center, and matches the headband’s velour interior. The exterior of the headband is lined with a darker blue velour.
The left ear features Carthay Circle Restaurant and the Pixar Pal-A-Round from Disney California Adventure. Each icon is depicted in colorful line art.
The other ear features art of Matterhorn Bobsleds and Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland Park. Tiny sparkles and stars in blue, pink, and gold are scattered in the “sky” on both ears.
A USB-C charging port is on the back of the headband, so users can recharge the battery after use. Charging instructions are included on a tag attached to the headband.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Tarot-Inspired Ear Headband – $34.99
We found another new ear headband at Disney’s Pin Traders, this time inspired by Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” These dark blue ears also appear to take inspiration from tarot cards.
The heavily sequined bow at the center features sparkling shade of blue, purple, and pink. At the center are two faux leather tarot-styled cards, featuring Jack Skellington and Sally. Jack’s card features the moon and reads, “Star-Crossed.” Sally’s card has the sun peeking out of clouds on the top right, and reads, “Lovers.”
The ears themselves are also a faux leather, with a repeating pattern of Jack faces with bursts of purple light yellow moons, blue bats, and other fine details.
The headband itself is a blue faux leather, with a matching blue velour lining for comfort.
Black and Gold Disneyland Ear Headband – $34.99
The last new ear headband we found at Disney’s Pin Traders was this black and gold Disneyland option, matching the recent collection we first spotted at Walt Disney World.
The bow is covered in black sequins, with a gold glitter Sleeping Beauty Castle charm in the center. The headband has a matching black silky material on the exterior with black velour lining.
The ears are more of a silky material, and the right ear features a gold illustration of Sleeping Beauty Castle with the Disneyland “D” logo. The left ear is also black, but includes small golden dots.
We recently spotted the Walt Disney World version at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Loungefly R2-D2 ‘Beep Boop’ Sequined Ear Headband – $44.99
Over in Disneyland Park, we spotted these new Star Wars ears at The Mad Hatter. Completely covered in shiny white sequins, these ears feature a large pleather bow inspired by everyone’s favorite astromech droid, R2-D2.
The droid’s blue designs run across the bow, with his various buttons included as embroidered elements. At the center of the bow is a black circular charm, representing R2’s eye-like photoreceptor.
A matching white enamel badge featuring the Star Wars and Loungefly logos is sewn onto the outer left side of the headband.
The back of each ear on the headband features additional embroidered elements. The right ear (seen as the left) reads “Beep boop!” in silver embroidery thread, and the left ear (seen here as the right) features an embroidered silver Rebel Alliance logo.
R2-D2 “talks” to his companions throughout the adventures in the Star Wars universe via beeps and boops, but most characters can understand droid speech. We also recently found this headband at Walt Disney World.
Loungefly Minnie Mouse & Friends Sequined Ear Headband – $44.99
These simple ears from Loungefly celebrate Minnie Mouse and all her friends. The ears and headband are covered in black sequins, but the bow is the real star of the show.
The bow is a white pleather material, and features an all-over print of castles in blue, pink, red, yellow, and yellow-green, alongside Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Goofy. A black glitter enamel badge of a Disney castle sits at the center.
A white enamel Disney and Loungefly badge is sewn to the outer left side of the headband.
Blue and Purple Sequined Ear Headband – $34.99
Our final find from The Mad Hatter was this blue and purple sequined ear headband. Unlike some of the headbands above, just the ears are covered in sequins; the headband is instead wrapped in contrasting blue and purple velour.
A large, silky blue bow sits at the center of the ears, and is lined with rhinestones and a large faceted jewel at the center. You can also find this on shopDisney.
Snow White Sequined Ear Headband – $34.99
Over in the Emporium, we found two new ear headbands celebrating classic Disney Princesses, with the first being a Snow White-inspired pair. The ears take inspiration from Snow White’s blue, red, and yellow dress.
Both ears are covered in sequins matching the design of Snow White’s dress sleeves and skirt. Each ear is also lined with a red velour material. The bow itself has two layers, with the bottom bow being a silky white material. The top bow is smaller and covered in red sequins.
To match the headband, the back of the ears are covered in a red glitter material.
Cinderella Ear Headband – $34.99
The last new pair of ears from Emporium celebrates Cinderella, taking inspiration from her entire story, not just her iconic dress. Both ears and the headband are covered in silky blue material with silver accents.
The left ear has screen-printed line art of Cinderella’s carriage, surrounded by silver stars large and small.
The right ear continues the silver stars motif. Both ears are lined with a silver border.
Like the Snow White ears, this one also has a two-tiered bow. The bottom bow is an iridescent plastic material, and the top bow is a small, tulle-covered blue bow. A silver clock charm that reads 11:56 is at the center.
‘Frozen’ Embroidered Anna Ear Headband – $34.99
The final new headband we found on our visit takes more inspiration from Disney Princess outfits, this time from Anna’s traveling outfit from the first “Frozen” film.
The headband itself is lined with black velour. Like the other Disney Princess ears we found, this one has a double bow, also inspired by Anna’s main outfit. The bottom bow is a silky blue material with a darker blue pattern inspired by the hem of her skirt. The top bow is pink with small tassels, directly referencing her traveling cloak.
The ears are mostly black with gold lining around the edges, and include embroidery inspired by the bodice of Anna’s traveling outfit. We also recently found these at Walt Disney World.
