Even Universal Orlando cannot stay away from the hype of Stanley tumblers, as the resort has launched its own take with the new Mardi Gras tumbler. We found it in the Universal Studios Store at Universal Studios Florida.

Universal Mardi Gras Tumbler – $40

Universal Mardi Gras tumbler

The tumbler is matte black, with the same shape as a Stanley cup. It’s thinner on the bottom so it can fit in cupholders and wider on the top half. It includes a handle, lid, and straw.

Skull and elements design on tumbler

“Universal Orlando Mardi Gras” and “2024” are incorporated into the design on the side. A skull wears sunglasses and a piano-inspired top hat. Skeletal hands are holding the necks of guitars. A purple and yellow globe is in the center. Mardi Gras beads are pictured hanging over an archway. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Elements.” The elements are represented in this design with waves, flames, flowers, mushrooms, and clouds.

Universal Mardi Gras wordmark on tumbler

The event’s wordmark is printed in white on the other side of the tumbler. This wordmark and the skull design are featured on many of the other Mardi Gras merchandise items.

Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval began on February 3 and runs through April 7.

Universal Mardi Gras wordmark

Mardi Gras means “Fat Tuesday” in French. Fat Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday. It’s the final day of the Carnival/Carnaval celebration that takes place between Three Kings Day and Lent each year. This year, Fat Tuesday is on February 13.

Inside of tumbler

The straw sticks through the center of the lid, which twists off. The interior is stainless steel.
