The 2024 Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval kicks off this Saturday, February 3, and ahead of the good times rolling, the event merchandise has appeared at Universal Orlando Resort.
Universal Mardi Gras 2024 Merchandise
We found everything in both this year’s Mardi Gras Tribute Store and Universal CityWalk, both at a merchandise kiosk outside and inside the Universal Studios Store. The new Mardi Gras merchandise will also be available at the Tribute Store and multiple locations around the parks.
Mardi Gras Keychain – $12
This keychain features the music festival-style graphic for Universal Mardi Gras. The art depicts a sunglasses-wearing skeleton holding a pair of guitars. “2024” is included at the bottom.
Mardi Gras Magnet – $12
The same artwork can also be found in magnet form, if keychains aren’t your thing.
Mardi Gras Baron Magnetic Bottle Opener – $12
This magnetic bottle opener features the Baron wearing a top hat with a snake wrapped around the length. Beads, flowers, and feathers adorn the hat. “Mardi Gras,” “2024,” and “Universal Orlando” are written out beneath the Baron.
Clear Backpack – $55
This clear backpack continues the music festival theme, with clear pockets, panels, and purple accents. The top portion of the bag features the art of the skeleton with two guitars, and the Universal Orlanod Mardi Gras wordmark above it. Water and fire elements are present on both sides of the graphic. The front pocket has a wordmark for Universal Orlando, and has “2024” printed in a sunburst on the actual pocket itself.
The clear and purple combination continues to the back of the backpack, and the straps on the bag are purple with bright Mardi Gras artwork.
There is a slip pocket on either side of the backpack for water bottles or other items. The main compartment of the bag has a double zipper.
Mardi Gras Shirt – $40
This mossy green Mardi Gras shirt is a cold shoulder-style top with a boat neck. Multiple cutouts run down both sleeves. The sunglasses-wearing skull art is present on the front.
Mardi Gras Freestyle Cup Carrier – $16
A new Coca-Cola Freestyle cup carrier has debuted for the event. The carrier is a dark color, which makes the bright artwork pop.
The fire and water elements and flowers and clouds can be seen on the back.
The strap on the carrier says “Universal Orlando Mardi Gras”.
King Gator Flannel – $75
This light purple and black checkered flannel features artwork of King Gator chilling on the back. King Gator is dressed in purple, kicking back on his bead-covered thrown, playing a banjo.
The flannel is a button-up with two pockets on the front and “Universal Mardi Gras 2024” written in white. Bleach spots can be found all over the flannel.
Mardi Gras Socks – $18
Continue your Mardi Gras style with a pair of graphic socks featuring the music festival-style artwork. The skull with two guitars is printed on the front of the socks.
The water and fire elements, as well as “2024” can be found on the back of the socks.
Mardi Gras Baron Pin – $22
This beautiful pin of the Baron is quite large.
The bottom piece of the pin with the Mardi Gras logo can be flipped down to create a stand for the pin.
Mardi Gras Baron Keychain – $11
This keychain shows the skeleton baron inside a frame with an eerie, dark bayou on one side and a bright, tropical scene on the other.
Mardi Gras Music Fest Lanyard – $13
This double-sided lanyard has the colorful music fest artwork. This side of the lanyard is light and bright.
Meanwhile, this side of the lanyard is dark and moody, with the sunglasses-wearing skull on one side.
Lanyard Pouch – $8
Add some Mardi Gras flair to your favorite lanyard with this lanyard pouch for your ID.
Mardi Gras Spirit Jersey – $75
An official Spirit Jersey is available for Mardi Gras 2024. This solid black jersey has a design of Mardi Gras beads around the neck on the front. The purple, gold, and green “beads” are brought together with a green “Universal Mardi Gras” medallion.
The back of the Spirit Jersey says “Mardi Gras 2024 Universal Orlando” along the shoulders. Artwork of the Baron is printed on the lower back torso.
Mardi Gras Baron Magnet – $11
This magnet offers a greater look at the Baron frame artwork first seen on a keychain above. Here, the Baron is shown between two landscapes: a dark bayou, and a beach at sunset. “Mardi Gras!,” “2024,” and “Universal Orlando” are included at the bottom.
Mardi Gras Frame Magnet – $12
This magnet is also a frame, so you can add your own photo from Mardi Gras.
Music Fest Pin – $11
This pin features the Universal Orlando Mardi Gras 2024 Music Fest artwork.
Mardi Gras Crewneck Sweatshirt – $60
This dove gray crewneck sweatshirt has the skull artwork on the chest and a guitar neck on each sleeve. Both sleeves feature different elements.
A skeleton hand holding the neck of a guitar and an eye are also present on the sleeves.
Baron Tie-Dye T-Shirt – $37
This tie-dye shirt screams ‘Mardi Gras’ with the bright purple, green, and yellow colors. The front of the shirt shows the artwork of the Baron.
The Universal Orlando Mardi Gras logo is on the back, near the neckline.
Music Fest T-Shirt – $30
This cornsilk yellow t-shirt has a small skull on the chest, with “Universal Mardi Gras” and the event year.
The back of the shirt is the event’s Music Fest artwork.
Freestyle Cup – $29
This year’s Coca-Cola Freestyle cup for Mardi Gras has the music fest design printed on a speckled black background with a clear lid.
These Coca-Cola Freestyle tumblers include the first day of fills when you purchase and can be reactivated on future visits.
Drawstring Crop Top – $65
This alternate take on a cropped sweatshirt features the music fest logo on the front.
This gray cropped sweatshirt is super soft and has drawstrings at the bottom to cinch the waist.
Both sleeves on this sweatshirt feature colorful flowers.
King Gator Plush – $25
This might be the cutest merchandise item released for Mardi Gras this year. This adorable King Gator plush is the perfect souvenir.
The plush is a nice size. King Gator wears purple and gold Mardi Gras beads and a purple Mardi Gras crown.
Mardi Gras Pouch – $16
This zip-up Mardi Gras pouch comes with a strap so you can carry your small essential items. The front is a colorful design with masks and “Let the Good Times Roll Universal Orlando 2024”.
The strap can be removed if you would rather put this bag inside of another one instead. The strap repeats “Let the Good Times Roll.”
The pouch is small, but could easily fit a phone, wallet, or your stash of Mardi Gras beads.
Mardi Gras Frame – $25
This Mardi Gras frame puts you in the role of the Baron, with his hat nestled atop the graphic. “Mardi Gras!,” “2024,” and “Universal Orlando” are included on a banner below.
This frame has a hook to hang from the wall or a stand to sit the frame on a table.
Mardi Gras Glass – $17
If you’re a pint glass collector, you’ll want to grab this year’s event glass for Mardi Gras. The front of the glass has the music fest artwork, with water and fire elements to the left and right of the cup.
Mardi Gras Music Fest Poster – $34
To really dive deep into the music fest motif, there’s even an event poster for this year’s Mardi Gras. It comes packaged in a poster tube for easy transport, with a sticker on the tube to illustrate what the poster inside looks like.
Purple Baron Pullover Hoodie – $60
This purple pullover hoodie is mostly plain on the front, with just the Mardi Gras wordmark on the left breast in white.
The back of the hoodie, however, features the Baron artwork with the bayou to his left and the beach to his right.
Mardi Gras Rainbow Art T-Shirt – $33
This music festival-style T-shirt features split-dye artwork on the left breast and back in blue, green, yellow, and orange. The art on the left breast is a circle with a fleur de lys inside. “Mardi Gras 2024” is included above the circle, with “Universal Orlando” below.
The back of the shirt has art that is reminiscent of music festival posters from the 1970s. Here, images of Mardi Gras masks, microphones, and a crown are surrounded by “Mardi Gras 2024,” “Let the good times roll,” and “Universal Orlando.”
Mardi Gras Festival Poster Keychain – $12
The music festival poster art continues with this keychain. The poster art is only on the front, but is the same graphic as that on the back of the T-shirt above.
The keychain is colored to look somewhat like an oil slick, with shifting shades of gold, purple, green, and blue.
Mardi Gras Festival Poster Zip-Up Hoodie – $60
The same festival poster art can also be found on this zip-up hoodie. The fleur de lys is printed in blue, green, yellow, and orange on the left breast.
The poster art is printed in the same shades on the back.
Youth Baron Snakeskin Print T-Shirt – $25
Kids can get in on the Mardi Gras fun with this youth T-shirt featuring the Baron in an intricate frame, printed over a snakeskin all-over pattern.
Mardi Gras Throw Blanket – $65
This throw blanket has the music fest artwork on the front, but the overall blanket color is black.
Cream-colored fuzzy material is on the bottom side of the blanket.
Baron V-Neck T-Shirt – $33
This adult-sized purple V-neck T-shirt is bright purple, and features the Baron in a darker shade of purple on the bottom left side, from the armpit to the hem.
Youth King Gator T-Shirt – $25
To match the plush, there’s even a King Gator T-shirt for kids. The green gator is front and center with beads and a crown, and the Universal Mardi Gras wordmark is below him.

This simple event T-shirt is black, and has the Universal Mardi Gras wordmark printed on the left breast in purple ink.
The back of the shirt has King Gator in his purple suit and top hat, chilling in a blue and gold throne while playing the banjo.
King Gator Ball Cap – $30
A purple, black, and green ball cap is also available featuring King Gator. His head takes up most of the front black panel. The bill of the hat is green and features the Universal Mardi Gras wordmark in purple in the bottom right corner.
The sides and back of the cap are purple, with “2024” embroidered over the adjustable strap in white.
King Gator Mug – $16
This black mug features the wordmark for Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval on the front in a gradient from pink to blue.
The opposite side of the mug has King Gator sitting on his throne, with the phrase “Chillin’ Like a King” off to the right.
The inside of the mug is glazed purple, and it is hand-wash only.
King Gator Keychain – $12
King Gator can be chillin’ with you everywhere you go with this keychain. One charm is of the Mardi Gras wordmark, while the other is King Gator on his throne.

The same King Gator throne art is also available in pin form.

The other side features his slogan for this year, “Chilllin’ Like a King.” The Universal Mardi Gras wordmark is below it. All are printed in purple.

Keep cool with this Mardi Gras hand fan, which features the music fest artwork printed on a black fan. There is a sticker on one side of the handle that reveals it actually glows in the dark!
Blacklight Reactive T-Shirt – $40
This gray tie-dye shirt is blacklight-reactive, meaning that the colors will react to blacklight if you find yourself in it while you let the good times roll.
Beads or Bust T-Shirt – $30
This cream-colored shirt features artwork of a Mardi Gras mask and plenty of beads, with the phrase “Beads or bust” printed in cream, light orange, and darker orange.
Life of the Mardi T-Shirt – $33
Be the “life of the Mardi” with this purple T-shirt. “Universal Orlando Mardi Gras 2024” is printed below the phrasing in yellow.
King Gator Crop Top – $37
King Gator also appears on this gray cropped T-shirt. He is mostly represented in black line art, with white highlights on his teeth and purple accents on his top hat and beads.
The Universal Mardi Gras wordmark is printed in purple toward the neckline on the back.
Chillin’ Like a King Scented Candle – $20
It’s not a Universal seasonal event without an event candle, and Mardi Gras is no exception. This “Chillin’ Like a King” candle comes in a black tin.
The tin contains 7.25 ounces (205 grams) ready to bring a little Mardi Gras to your home.
Mardi Gras Chenille Patch Sweatshirt – $70
This black sweatshirt features a boat neck and chenille patches for each individual letter of “Mardi Gras” stitched on the front.
The letters are a mix of purple, yellow, and green, and are edged with metallic gold.
The Mardi Gras wordmark is printed in purple on the back near the neckline.

The last new Mardi Gras item we spotted was a pair of graphic socks featuring the Baron in his two worlds. He’s the star of the show toward the top of the sock, with the background split into the spooky bayou and sunny beach.
Mardi Gras Mason Jar Tumbler – $17
Sip in style with this mason jar-style tumbler featuring the music festival poster art for Mardi Gras.
The glass and the lid are both a light blue, with the Mardi Gras art printed in an ombre of green, blue, purple, and pink. A hole at the top of the tumbler is for a straw.
There is no art on the back of the tumbler, and it is hand-wash only.
King Gator Shot Glass – $10
King Gator is letting the good times roll with this tall shot glass. The icon can be seen on his throne on one side, with green glass beneath him.
The back of the shot glass has the Universal Mardi Gras wordmark in purple. It is also hand-wash only.
Baron Badge Reel – $14
Keep your tickets and annual passes close with this Mardi Gras-themed badge reel featuring art of the Baron.
The actual clip has the Universal Mardi Gras wordmark on either side in white, surrounded by teal and red.
The card case is black and has the framed art of the Baron on one side, with a slot to hold your cards on the other. There is also a window to show your cards or ID you keep inside without having to take them out.
Mardi King Ball Cap – $29
Be the self-proclaimed king of Mardi Gras with this gray ball cap. The “Mardi King” artwork features a crown, and is printed in shades of green, purple, and gold on the front panel.
The hat has a plastic adjustable clasp on the back. The Universal Mardi Gras wordmark is embroidered on the left side in purple thread.
Mardi King T-Shirt – $33
Complete the Mardi King look with this dated T-shirt. The shirt itself is a heathered gray-brown, and includes art of a golden crown surrounded by green and purple lettering.

Those who consider themselves Mardi Queen will not want to miss this T-shirt. It has a boat neck and dropped shoulders, and includes art of a Mardi Gras mask and flowers.

There’s also a matching Mardi Queen ball cap. The front panel and bill are a sea foam green, with the rest of the hat being a white mesh. It features the same art as the T-shirt.
The wordmark for Universal Mardi Gras is embroidered on the left side in purple ink, matching the Mardi King version.
Mardi Gras Silipint Cup – $22
This silicone pint cup by Silipint features the music festival poster-style art printed in white on a gradient of light blue, red, orange, and yellow.
According to the sticker label, this cup is non-toxic, dishwasher- and microwave-safe, food-grade silicone. “Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval 2024” is printed on the opposite side in white.

This can-shaped glass features the “Beads or Bust” art on one side in full color, and the Mardi Gras wordmark on the other. It is hand-wash only.
