A new T-shirt at Walt Disney World features iconic structures from Disney Parks — including the new Tiana’s Foods water tower at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It’s the first shirt to represent the upcoming attraction and one of the first-ever pieces of merchandise inspired by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, following a pin released in February.
Disney Parks Icons Tee – $29.99
The shirt is a light turquoise color with “Things living rent-free in my head” in darker blue lettering across the front. The park icons are in white all over the shirt. The shirt is labeled with the Walt Disney World wordmark, but some of the structures are clearly from Disneyland Resort, like Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Disneyland version of The Haunted Mansion. Other icons include the Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth, Big Thunder Mountain, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and the Partners statue.
The Tiana’s Foods water tower is at the top of the design, next to the left sleeve. “Tiana’s Foods” isn’t printed on the image of the water tower but it’s distinctive thanks to the giant lilypad tiara on top.
We found this shirt in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom. Adult T-shirts are $29.99 or $25 if you buy two.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open at Magic Kingdom this summer and at Disneyland Park later in the year. Disney recently introduced some of the ride’s new critter characters and shared more details of the ride’s story.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set after the events of “The Princess and the Frog.” In 1927, Tiana founded Tiana’s Foods. The co-op cultivates crops on the waters running through an old salt mine. During the ride, Tiana is getting ready to throw a Mardi Gras party, but there’s been a mix-up between Naveen and Louis and the party needs a band. Tiana heads out into the bayou to find musical critters.
Plush versions of three of the critters will be available soon.
Imagineers were recently the first people to ride the new attraction. Check out our most recent update about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure testing in Magic Kingdom.
