New Mardi Gras Monster Makeover Options Available for Just $25 at Universal Studios Florida

The Monster Makeover experience at Universal Studios Florida now offers Mardi Gras options, perfect for a parade float ride. The limited-time experience opened in early February and is located in 5 & 10.

Mardi Gras Monster Makeover blue and white water option

The Mardi Gras-inspired makeup options are in the back of the display book as options 42 through 49. They are also listed on the Monster Makeover page of the Universal Orlando Resort website as a “Seasonal Transformation.” Reservations can be made in person at 5 & 10 or on the website.

Mardi Gras makeup costs just $25. These options are smaller than the other makeup options, which are either $125 (full face) or $65 (half face). Universal Orlando Annual Passholder discounts are also available.

Lightning Mardi Gras Monster Makeover

Some of the Mardi Gras looks make it seem like you’re wearing an intricate mask. Others are inspired by this year’s elements theme. Mardi Gras makeovers will take about 20 minutes.

The Monster Makeover artists are Universal’s skilled Halloween Horror Nights and Mardi Gras makeup artists. They use their high-quality makeup for these detailed looks. Note that accessories and hair styling are not included.

The Monster Makeover experience will only be available through April 7 — the final day of Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval.

Green Mardi Gras Monster Makeover

Mardi Gras is French for “Fat Tuesday” and takes place on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday. The name “Fat Tuesday” comes from eating fatty foods. Mardi Gras is the final day of the Carnaval festival leading up to Lent.
