Walt Disney World has a new summer merchandise collection featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The line includes apparel, a Minnie ear headband, and a Loungefly mini backpack.
Summer Mickey and Minnie Merchandise
We found most of the merchandise in Island Mercantile at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Summer Ear Headband – $34.99
The ear headband, which we also found at Disneyland Resort, has woven straw ears. The bow is a light blue-green color with a cloud pattern. The same fabric is on the outside of the headband.
The circular charm at the center of the bow depicts Minnie in a pink outfit lounging on a beach. She’s on a blanket beneath a palm tree.
The inside of the headband is lined with soft blue-green velour fabric.
Beach Bag – $24.99
This tote bag is a similar blue-green color to the ear headband. It’s made of a soft fabric debossed with Mickey heads.
A pleather Mickey head is on one side of the bag.
It has two over-the-shoulder straps. The interior is solid blue-green with a snap closure. It also has a small zip pocket inside.
The bag includes a charm resembling a Mickey-shaped floatie. It’s striped green and yellow.
Minnie T-Shirt – $34.99
The Minnie Mouse T-shirt features a similar design to the ear headband charm. Minnie is shown between two palm trees on a beach with the ocean behind her. The rest of the shirt is white with short sleeves.
Mickey T-Shirt – $34.99
The Mickey T-shirt is also white. It depicts the mouse on a striped hammock hanging between two palm trees. The ocean is behind him, with clouds and a sun in the sky above.
Long-Sleeve T-Shirt- $39.99
This long-sleeved shirt is coral pink. Mickey is pictured on the front wearing beachy clothes and sunglasses. He’s depicted in black instead of full color.
Button-Up – $64.99
Mickey and Minnie are both on this button-up short-sleeved shirt. They are pictured lounging in beach chairs between palm trees. The sun is setting beyond the ocean in front of them.
The design continues onto the back of the shirt with more palm trees.
Tank Top – $29.99
This white tank top has a large graphic of Mickey relaxing on a hammock. He’s wearing sunglasses and shorts. The sun is above him.
Glow-in-the-Dark Loungefly Mini Backpack – $88
We found the Loungefly mini backpack in Star Traders at Magic Kingdom. It’s mostly sunset orange and beachy tan colors. Mickey and Minnie are both depicted on patches on the front.
Mickey is above the small zip pocket, standing in front of the ocean. Two palm trees are on the beach next to him and the sun is setting behind him. He wears shorts, a cloudy shirt, loafers, a bucket hat, and sunglasses.
Minnie is pictured in a lounge chair, holding her sunglasses. A picnic blanket is in front of her with a sunhat, iced tea, and sunblock. An orange Disney Parks and Loungefly plaque is next to Minnie.
The slip pockets on the sides of the bag resemble brown woven straw. The main zipper is outlined in white pleather.
The back of the backpack is the same white-tan color as the front. The top halves of the straps are padded white pleather. The bottom halves are light blue-green.
Mickey and Minnie’s faces are both on the back. The mice are wearing sunglasses.
The top handle also resembles woven straw. The zippers are gold-tone.
The interior lining is light blue and patterned with images of Mickey and Minnie and their beach supplies.
Hair Accessories – $14.99
We also spotted this hair accessory set, which includes two barrettes and a scrunchie. The two barrettes depict the ocean and a palm tree, complete with Mickey heads in the waves, and Minnie in her sunglasses in front of a glitter sun.
The scrunchie is made of a sea foam green terry cloth and includes attached black mouse ears and a bow to channel your inner Minnie Mouse.
Mickey Mouse Visor for Adults – $29.99
Over in Main Street Cinema at Magic Kingdom, we found this visor. It’s in the same terry material as the beach bag, complete with Mickey print. It’s mint green and trimmed in cream.
The back has an elastic section and the bow is more or less just for show, as, even when untied, the elastic still holds the visor together. The inside has a sweatband material. You can also find it online at the Disney Store.
Mickey Mouse Summer Swim Sandals for Toddlers – $19.99
We found these toddler sandals at the Screen Door General Store at Disney’s Boardwalk. They’re mint green with Mickey in his sunglasses at the edge of each front Velcro strap. The back strap also has a Velcro closure. The sandal has a tropical Mickey Mouse print.
Mickey Mouse Summer Swim Slides for Kids – $19.99
For bigger kids, the sandals are done in a slide form, sans the back strap. They can be purchased online at The Disney Store.
