Signs around the resort advertise a free interactive wand with the purchase of a $300 shopping card, a.k.a a gift card. This offer is not entirely new, as Universal has previously held promotions for free non-interactive wands; however, this is the first time the interactive wands are up for grabs. They are currently priced at $65.
Here’s a look at the four options guests can choose from after purchasing a gift card.
This added perk is likely a sign that new interactive wands and upgraded experiences could be on the way. Over the past year, we’ve seen several patents come in for various wand experience upgrades. The changes are rumored to debut at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort this summer.
