Astro Orbitor at Disneyland Park is back open after closing in November for refurbishment. The ride was dismantled and then rebuilt.
Astro Orbitor Reopens
Construction walls are down and guests are free to ride the attraction, which is at the front of Tomorrowland.
There are no major changes to the ride experience of the attraction outside of cosmetic ones. The attraction was cleaned and repainted so it looks extra bright and shiny. We saw the ride testing earlier this week.
All of the rockets were repainted. Additionally, all of the lights in the head and tail of the rockets were fixed.
The colors look really vivid, which you can see at the base.
Above is a closer look at the upgraded paint job on the ride vehicle.
The floor and surrounding walls are also freshly painted.
