The permits, filed with the South Florida Water Management District, indicate Disney will remove the beach volleyball court and disc golf area. In the space, they will build a new 5,530-square-foot building and retention pond. The permits do not include a construction timeline.

Fort Wilderness has seen a lot of construction lately, including the installation of new Disney Vacation Club cabins, work on a new Cast Member building, and the refurbishment of Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern.
