All the “Smellephants on Parade” locations in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom now have coming soon signs and lights.
Smellephants on Parade
“New act debuting soon” signs went up with red posts earlier this week. There were originally only two locations marked, but now all eight have a circle of red posts and a sign.
Cylindrical black lights are hidden inside the posts. There are rings on the outside of the posts, likely for a rope to be wrapped around each figure.
The interactive experience will have large elephant figures inspired by the “Pink Elephants on Parade” sequence in “Dumbo.”
Ferns hide some of the utility work in the future statue locations.
We could see a red spot in the center of this circle.
We saw a green box under a fern in another ring.
Disney has not announced an opening timeframe for Smellephants on Parade. Scentsy sponsors the experience as well as Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
The Smellephants on Parade locations are:
- Next to Storybook Circus entrance
- Next to Dumbo the Flying Elephant archway
- Outside Big Top Souvenirs main entrance
- Outside Big Top Souvenirs second entrance
- Outside Pete’s Silly Sideshow entrance
- In front of Walt Disney World Railroad station
- Two next to Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station
The statues will all be in flowerbeds.
Guests will collect maps for the experience at the Big Top Souvenirs ticket booth, which was recently removed for work.
