Season of the Force has begun at Disneyland Resort and a new “Star Wars” merchandise series featuring artwork by Will Gay is now available. We found the new “Star Wars” Artist Series at The Star Trader in Disneyland Park.
Will Gay “Star Wars” Merchandise Collection
The tags feature a cartoon Darth Vader holding a Death Star balloon.

Will Gay is an artist and designer for The Walt Disney Company. In his role, Will helps inspire, innovate and craft creative advertising and brand experiences through design. His art is inspired by a mix of pop culture, street art and skateboarding, and he enjoys being able to interpret his favorite characters in new and intriguing ways in his signature style.
Salt & Pepper Shakers – $24.99
This set includes two shakers. One is a sculpted Darth Vader figure while the other is Boba Fett.
Tray – $34.99
This clear tray has handles on the ends. Pictured in Will Gay’s cartoon style on the tray are Boba Fett (holding a Han Solo in carbonite balloon), R2-D2, Chewbacca, Darth Vader with his Death Star balloon, a GNK droid, an Ewok with an X-wing balloon, and a Stormtrooper with an Ewok doll.
Plate Set – $39.99
There are four circular plates in this set.
This plate features Darth Vader with his balloon. Two rows of Stormtroopers are behind him. They’re in a purple rendition of a Star Destroyer’s hangar bay.
A white plate features an Ewok driving a speeder through the forest of Endor. Another Ewok plays three Stormtrooper helmets like drums. A third Ewok peers out from behind a tree.
Luke, Obi-Wan, R2-D2, and C-3PO are pictured in an orange speeder crossing the Tatooine desert on this pink plate. Luke’s home, a Bantha, and a Sandcrawler are in the background.
The final plate features a ring of the characters from the tray — Boba Fett, Chewbacca, a Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, an Ewok, a GNK droid, and R2-D2.
All four plates are pictured on the tag.
Bowl Set – $39.99
A set of two bowls have similar artwork as the plates.
One bowl is pink with Tatooine imagery.
The other bowl is black with Imperial ships and the Death Star.
Cups – $34.99
There are four frosted plastic cups in this set. They feature Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper.
Boba Fett holds his Han Solo balloon and Darth Vader holds the Death Star balloon.
Once again, Darth Vader has his Death Star balloon.
Pitcher – $29.99
The pitcher is made of a lightweight glass. It has two black stripes framing the “Star Wars” wordmark and Death Star. TIE Fighters fly across the space station.
This is 1,700 milliliters or 57.49 ounces.
T-Shirt – $34.99
This shirt is white with a rectangle of artwork in the center. “Star Wars” is printed in black above the image.
Luke, Obi-Wan, C-3PO, and R2-D2 are pictured in the speeder on Tatooine. A Star Destroyer and TIE Fighters fly through the pink sky.
The planet’s two yellow suns are also pictured.

This white shirt features a a brown Ewok with a fuzzy yellow-orange hood.

The bucket hat is black. The characters from other items are pictured around the cap.
A “Star Wars” patch is on a small pocket on one side.
It has a white under-the-chin strap with a black bead to adjust the fit.
Darth Vader Bag – $29.99
This pleather bag is embroidered with the image of Darth Vader holding his balloon. The image is in shades of gray instead of black to stand out against the black background.
It has a zip-up pocket and adjustable strap.
Pillow – $44.99
This pillow depicts an Ewok playing a trio of Stormtrooper helmets-turned-drums. The Ewok is light brown with a cream-colored hood.
“Yub nub” is against a solid white back.
Throw Blanket – $44.99
The throw is 50 in. x 60 in. or 127 cm x 152 cm.
It comes folded and wrapped in a black ribbon.
The full image, printed on the tag, is the same Ewok artwork from the plate set.
