The BARC Speeder Escape set has 221 pieces and is set for release on May 1, 2024. It comes with four Minifigures: two 501st Clone Troopers, Grogu, and Kelleran Beq. Beq comes with two lightsabers: his own green saber and the blue saber of a fallen Jedi that he picked up during the fight to escape.

The BARC (or Biker Advanced Recon Commando) Speeder was used by the Grand Army of the Republic, and appropriated by Beq to shuttle Grogu to safety. Most BARC Speeders seat one, but this model features a sidecar that Grogu’s hoverpram can fit into. The speeders first appeared in “Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.”

As featured in “Chapter 20: The Foundling,” the set represents a flashback scene showing how Grogu was able to survive Order 66, the infamous command from Darth Sidious that led the Clone Troopers (and Darth Vader) to massacre the Jedi. Grogu, who was growing up in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, was one of few to escape Operation: Knightfall.

He was saved by Jedi Master Kelleran Beq, who had only previously appeared in the official but non-canonical “Jedi Temple Challenge” YouTube series. Beq is played by Ahmed Best, who is also known for his other Star Wars role as Jar Jar Binks.
