Starting with the big reveal of Isle of Berk from Universal Epic Universe. This new immersive land looks amazing! Universal revealed concept art and attractions coming to the land that will be based on How to Train Your Dragon.
On the 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Disney CEO Bob Iger assured people that Epic Universe is something that Disney has been preparing for all along with years of upgrades to the existing parks. But, is it enough? He also gave us a further peek into the Avatar experience that has been teased for Disneyland.
Then after the call, Disney started dropping news of more upcoming projects, including a look at the maps for the Tropical Americas expansion, some concept art, and a closing date for Test Track at EPCOT.
Meanwhile, Tiana’s Bajou adventure is moving full steam ahead, and Imagineering dropped a video showing the incredible audio-animatronic figures that will be coming when the attraction opens this summer at Magic Kingdom.
Over at EPCOT, we were blessed with a brand new show, “Forces of Nature,” that will take place through the end of June. And Commuicore Hall still inches closer to being completed in time for its announced June opening date.
In Disneyland, Star Wars Season of the Force began on Friday. New merch, character greetings, and foods are available throughout the celebration. We’ll hear from the team how it looks. Also for Star Wars, at both Disneyland and Hollywood Studios, Star Tours finally received some new scenes passed on Disney+ shows.
