The Pixar movie “Up” is the latest announced addition to Le Pays des Contes de Fées, the Disneyland Paris version of the Storybook Land Canal Boats.

‘Up’ Scene Coming to Le Pays des Contes de Fées at Disneyland Paris

2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Le Pays des Contes de Fées, and in celebration, the attraction is undergoing a refurbishment that includes the addition of three new scenes. Last year, Disneyland Paris announced the addition of “Frozen” and “Winnie the Pooh.” Now, “Up” has been confirmed as the third scene and finale to the attraction, replacing a scene from “Return to Oz.”

The boat ride will take guests past Carl and Russell as they land Carl’s house near Paradise Falls. Kevin can be seen hiding in the area nearby. Keith Rector, Art Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris shared the following about the new scene:

What makes Le Pays des Contes de Fées so unique is that the attraction’s main character is its miniaturized storybook architecture. Carl’s flying house in ‘Up’  is an icon from this story, so strong that we felt it would be fitting as a finale to the attraction.
