The first merchandise honoring the 90th birthday of Donald Duck has arrived at Walt Disney World Resort.
We found an ornament in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and a puzzle in Star Traders at Magic Kingdom.
Donald Duck 90th Birthday Ornament – $26.99
The tag of the ornament is blue with white lines inspired by Donald’s sailor shirt. It has a “Donald Duck 90” logo.
The sculpted ornament depicts Donald as he looked in his original animation style. He has a longer beak and a white hat. The Donald figure is standing on a green field in front of a “90” made out of wood and a life preserver.
A golden medallion connecting the ornament and ribbon reads “Celebrating 90 Years.”
“Donald Duck” is on the life preserver, which appears to be tied to a post with rope.
Some of the green grass grows up the sides of the “90.”

Donald Duck debuted in “The Wise Little Hen,” which was released in theaters on June 9, 1934. Clarence Nash originated the role and voiced Donald until his death in 1985. Nash mentored Tony Anselmo, who took over the role and has voiced Donald ever since.
Although Anselmo is the main voice of Donald, Daniel Ross voiced the character for the series “Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures.” In the 2017 “DuckTales” series,” Minnie Mouse voice actress Russi Taylor and Christina Vee voiced a young Donald. Marvel star Don Cheadle voiced an intelligible version of Donald’s voice in one episode.
