Construction Walls Up Around Former Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade

The Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, a Magic Kingdom opening day attraction, closed permanently on June 23, 2024.

People walk past closed buildings and construction walls on a path under a clear sky with scattered clouds, giving Frontierland an air of suspense.

Now, on the following day, construction walls have been installed around the former attraction. The location is set to be converted into a Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge.

The Frontier Trading Post next door remains open, though a permit has been filed for construction at the shop as well.

The new DVC lounge will be themed to match the area. An opening date has not yet been announced.
