Daisy Ridley, who played Rey in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy, recently visited Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park. She shared a photo and video on Instagram of her “surreal” experiences encountering Rey in the land.

The Instagram stories have expired but the fan account Star Wars Holocron reshared them on X.

Ridley got to talk with the walkaround Rey character, and Chewbacca, near the Millennium Falcon. She gave a shoutout to Philander, her Disneyland VIP tour guide.

Ridley also rode Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and was excited to see herself in the ride’s pre-show. In the video above, the Rey hologram appears and Ridley turns to smile at the camera.

Ridley will reprise her role as Rey in a new “Star Wars” film set 15 years after the events of “The Rise of Skywalker.” In the film, Rey leads a new Jedi Order. It’s directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and intended as a standalone film.
