Lightning Lane Multi Pass Option to Utilize Attraction Tiers at Walt Disney World

Following today’s announcement of changes to the former Disney Genie+ system, Walt Disney World’s new Lightning Lane Multi Pass option will reintroduce attraction tiers for guests to choose from when planning their visit in advance.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass Attraction Tiers

Lightning Lane Multi Pass, replacing Disney Genie+, will move to a tiered system that categorizes the most popular Walt Disney World attractions into two levels. Guests will be able to choose one attraction from the upper tier, and two other experiences — or all three — from the second tier.

There are no tiers for Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, so guests can choose three of the following attractions in advance:

For Lightning Lane Single Pass, guests can purchase passes for each park’s most popular attractions, including:

Magic Kingdom

EPCOT

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Attraction tiers have been utilized on and off in some form since Walt Disney World’s opening, starting with the A-E ticket books. This is the latest iteration of this categorization.
