Deadpool is making his Disney Parks debut as a meet and greet character at Avengers Campus this week.
Deadpool Meet and Greet Character
Deadpool will meet guests at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure starting on July 26 and at Disneyland Paris on July 24.
The announcement was shared alongside photos of Wade Wilson (a.k.a. Deadpool) enjoying a visit to Disney California Adventure.
Deadpool posed in front of the Pixar Pal-A-Round to make a heart with his hands. He’s wearing his costume as seen in the upcoming “Deadpool & Wolverine” movie, which will be released in theaters on July 26. At this time, there has been no mention of a potential Wolverine meet and greet.
He also stopped by the Animation Academy to try his hand at drawing Mickey Mouse.
Meet and greets at Avengers Campus, especially the limited-time characters tied to TV or movie releases, often don’t have publicized schedules or locations. Many characters at Avengers Campus are free-roaming, while some have dedicated greeting locations. WDWNT will visit Disney California Adventure and provide an update about when and where to find Deadpool; stay tuned for more information.
Deadpool posed casually against a tree outside the Carthay Circle Restaurant, where the marquee overhead reads, “An icon returns.” The meet and greet is in celebration of the third theatrical Deadpool movie.
Finally, he posed outside Avengers Campus, where he will be found starting July 26. He’s the first X-Men character to appear in the parks and has, so far, only been part of the X-Men universe cinematically. However, the character had a brief stint in the Avengers during the comic book Secret Wars storyline. A Secret Wars film is in development for release in 2027, leading to speculation that Deadpool may make his MCU Avengers debut.
