Disney has announced an upcoming three-day series of announcements about the newest DCL ship, the Disney Destiny.

Disney Cruise Line is embarking on three days of epic announcements revealing the Disney Destiny, our new heroes and villains-inspired ship that will set sail in December 2025 – and we invite you to follow along! From July 30 through Aug. 1, 2024, stay tuned to find out everything you need to know about this marvelous addition to the fleet – all before bookings open to the public on Aug. 9, 2024! 

The ship’s name and Heroes & Villains theme were announced earlier this year. It will feature “The Lion King,” “Hercules,” “The Incredibles,” and “One Hundred and One Dalmatians,” among other properties. Captain Minnie will return with a new “Hero Minnie” look for the keel coin and filigree artwork.

A teaser video was also released; watch it below for a preview of what’s to come before the announcements begin.

Itineraries and destinations have yet to be revealed. They will likely be part of the upcoming announcements. Stay tuned for more information about the Disney Cruise Line’s newest addition to the fleet.
