X user Ice Gator (named for the Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park mascot) posted in reply to a question by user Disney Glimpses that they drove past the fire not long before 4:30 p.m. ET. They added that they believed it was a lightning strike, describing a “Large Smoky smell/aroma and a giant orange glow with a giant cloud of smoke filling the air.”

Around the same time, user Ashley Marie saw the same smoke cloud from a car nearby.

A traffic scene featuring several vehicles at a roadside area with orange cones and people in safety vests present, reminiscent of the bustling atmosphere near Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. An overcast sky looms above, with a traffic signal overhead hinting at the potential for lightning.

There are already emergency vehicles on site. Officials blocked off part of the road outside the entrance with traffic cones.
