Cute New Chip ‘n’ Dale Buns Fail in Flavor at Tokyo Disneyland

A pair of unique new treats available at Tokyo Disneyland is the Chip ‘n’ Dale Buns, a.k.a. the butt buns.

An outdoor area at what appears to be an amusement park with themed buildings resembling a ship. Several people are walking around or taking pictures under a partly cloudy sky.

These buns are available at Boiler Room Bites in Adventureland.

They come in a cute wrapper with fall leaves on the front and a picture of Chip and Dale inside.

The buns resemble Chip and Dale’s rear ends, complete with black and white stripes. One is a slightly lighter brown, representing Dale. That one is sweet potato-flavored while the other is tomato chicken.

This isn’t terrible but it’s dry. The bun is already predisposed to dryness, and the sweet potato inside is dry and chalky.

The tomato chicken bun isn’t amazing either. The tomato sauce is microwave-quality and the chunks of chicken are just fine.

These make a cute photo but aren’t good to eat. We also don’t understand the combination of sweet potato and tomato chicken or how those flavors apply to Chip ‘n’ Dale.
