runDisney has shared a first look at the 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend medals, via the Disney Parks Blog.
This year’s finisher medals take inspiration from vintage athletic graphics, with a nostalgic Disney twist. 2025 will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge.
runDisney 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Medals
The first medal reveal is for the Walt Disney World 5K, which features Pluto in a sprint, taking on the race’s 3.1 miles. The medal itself is a dark teal color with silver accents, with a navy and blue strap.
The finisher medal for the Walt Disney World 10K features Chip ‘n Dale, helping each other cross the finish line of the 6.2-mile race. This medal is silvertone with pink and navy accents, attached to a pink and navy strap.
The Half Marathon medal includes Donald Duck and Daisy Duck celebrating their completion of the 13.1-mile course. The design includes various shades of blue, with Donald and Daisy wearing red accents.
For the Walt Disney World Marathon, Mickey and Minnie race 26.2 miles together on this medal featuring a Mickey-head globe and red shield background. The strap is light blue and orange with even lighter blue stars.
Those who complete the Half Marathon and full Marathon races will earn the medal for Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge. This medal celebrates 20 years of the challenge, and features Goofy holding three medals in a color scheme of green and orange.
Finally, those who complete all four races, totaling 48.6 miles, will get the Dopey Challenge medal. This finisher medal features Dopey on the front in a predominantly yellow and purple color scheme. The medal swivels open to reveal a “Finisher” graphic with Dopey holding all of his medals. The strap is purple and yellow.
