Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters will permanently close on October 31, 2024 at Tokyo Disneyland. To celebrate the attraction, Tokyo Disney Resort is conducting a farewell celebration to the attraction until the closing date. Part one of the farewell celebration began on July 2 and concludes on September 18. Part two begins on September 19.

One of the items that guests will be able to obtain from September 19 through October 31 is a “Complete the Mission” sticker. The sticker features Buzz Lightyear, Emperor Zurg, and a Little Green Man. “Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters” appears in front of them in the same font as depicted on the attraction marquee. Beneath them all, “Complete the Mission!” is printed in yellow. Guests do not need to ride the attraction to get a sticker.

In addition to the sticker, guests will also be able to experience photo ops and obtain popcorn boxes with designs inspired by the attraction overlay beginning on September 19. No images for either of these experiences have been revealed at this time.

Guests who visit Tokyo Disneyland between now and September 18 can experience the “Astro Hero Time!” overlay. This overlay serves as the first part of the farewell celebration to the attraction. When the ride closes for good, it will be replaced by a Wreck-It-Ralph shooting attraction.
