Walt Disney World has announced the full list of attractions that will be available during extended evening hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom this fall.
Extended evening hours are offered on select dates for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or other select hotels. The extended Disney’s Hollywood Studios hours and Disney’s Animal Kingdom hours replace those at Magic Kingdom, which instead offers Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in the fall and winter.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Extended Evening Hours
Extended evening hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Dates announced so far include September 25, October 2, and October 16. The following attractions will be open.
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Muppet*Vision 3D
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Toy Story Mania!
Note that, like last year, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will not be available.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Extended Evening Hours
Extended evening hours will be available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with only October 11 announced so far. The following attractions will be open.

They need to bring back night safaris or rivers of light (the real one not the trash they let it become and before says anything the new fireworks at epcot are done by same wdi folks whom put alot of effort into being creative different and eclectic its not going to be for everyone illuminations never was so rivers doesnt have to either and the og show had fans and #s to prove it btw if walt was alive rivers would be favored bc he believed in all the things and so does rohde and the dak crew,he left it to) for dak emh to mean anything!
Dak is useless without night safaris and rivers of light
We were at AK in july, and the park closed at 6. The park would still have some sort of daylight up to 8 pm. Why close this park so early?
If they were open to all Disney resort hotels, we would. Currently planning an early vacation to PO Riverside.
