Disney Live Entertainment is accepting vocalist submissions for Mirabel from “Encanto” for a limited-run entertainment offering at Disney California Adventure Park. Disney is looking for an experienced contemporary musical theatre mezzo-soprano who speaks fluent Spanish, resembles the character from the film, and is between 5’2″ – 5’5″.

There has been no official announcement from Disney about what this new entertainment offering will be. However, the timing suggests that this new show could be holiday-themed.

All Mirabel applicants must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States. They must also be willing to comply with Disney grooming guidelines and employment standards. Performers must also be eligible and willing to join the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) or already be a member who is in good standing. The 2-step audition must be completed by August 11, 2024. In-person auditions will take place between August 12 – 16, 2024.

Performers in colorful costumes dance and smile on an outdoor stage, exuding the spirit of Celebración. One person in the foreground, wearing a blue shirt, stands out amid flowers and musical instruments in the background.

At Walt Disney World, ‘¡Celebración Encanto!’ has been performing at EPCOT since June 10. The show, which features appearances from Mirabel and Bruno, is scheduled to end on September 6.

What do you hope will be included in the new limited-time “Encanto” entertainment offering? Let us know in the comments.
