At the start of the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro made it clear that all projects being announced on Saturday night are in active development.

“This isn’t blue sky,” D’Amaro said, “we’re gonna do all of this.” He said plans have been drawn up and dirt has been moved on some of the projects.

D’Amaro said, “Tonight you’re gonna see past the horizon into our bright and boundless future.”
