This spin-off/sequel series debuting on Disney+ and Disney Channel sees the return of ‘Wizards of Waverly place star David Henrie (Justin Russo) and features a new young wizard named Billie, who will be portrayed by actress Janice LeAnn Brown. Selena Gomez will serve as an executive producer and will make an appearance in the pilot episode.

The series description released earlier this year, states the following.

The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.
