Jared Leto, who will play Ares in the upcoming “Tron: Ares,” recently rode TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom.
Jared Leto Rides TRON Lightcylce / Run
Jared Leto recently visited Walt Disney World and shared one of his experiences on his TikTok and Instagram account. The Academy Award-winning actor hopped aboard one of the Light Cycles and braved TRON Lightcycle / Run.
In the shared clip, Leto talked about wanting to sit in the front row of the attraction. That’s exactly where he ended up. The photo above shows him just after he boarded the Light Cycle, putting on his brave face.
With one arm raised in the air, Leto prepared himself for the attraction’s initial launch. In his Instagram caption, Leto said the following about the ride.
this ride goes pretty hard has anyone tried it?

“TRON: Ares” is the third installment in the TRON franchise and will be released on October 10, 2025. Nine Inch Nails will provide the music for the film. Jeff Bridges will return as Kevin Flynn and star alongside Leto in the film. Both actors appeared at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in early August.
TRON Lightcycle / Run
TRON Lightcycle / Run opened at Magic Kingdom on April 4, 2023. The high-speed roller coaster features sudden acceleration, sharp turns, drops, and a style of seating and restraints reminiscent of a Light Cycle. The Walt Disney World version of the attraction is a replica of the opening day attraction at Shanghai Disneyland.
