The Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade is back with more Disney Villains for another year of tricks and treats at Disneyland.
Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade
The cavalcade travels from “it’s a small world” down Main Street, U.S.A. It begins with Pluto and Goofy riding in the fire engine. Mickey and Friends are all wearing their new 2024 Halloween costumes.
Goofy is dressed as a scarecrow. Pluto is wearing the top of a pumpkin as a hat.
The main float has new decorations that match their costumes and the Mickey’s Pumpkin Patch merchandise line. A “Mickey’s Pumpkin Patch” sign is on the front of the float with several jack-o’-lanterns. A “Happy Halloween” sign featuring Mickey jack-o’-lantern is on the top back of the float.
The float carries Daisy, Donald, and Clarabelle on the lower platform. Donald and Daisy are dressed as a patchwork warlock and witch, respectively. Clarabelle has a scarecrow costume to match Goofy’s.
Mickey, Minnie, Chip, and Dale are on the upper platform. Mickey is dressed as a skeleton with a cape. Minnie has a tattered witchy dress.
The platforms are lined in green with diamond-patterned purple paneling. The cavalcade uses music from the 2002 Disney’s Halloween Parade at Tokyo Disneyland.
Chip is an orange angel and Dale is a red devil.
Several classic Disney characters walk on the street after the float. Next comes the omnibus, carrying more classic characters like Cinderella, Aurora, Pinocchio, and Mary Poppins. Many carry jack-o’-lantern candy buckets.
The Disney Villains close the cavalcade. Last year, the amount of villains varied by performance, but there was usually only one or two. This year, the group includes Lady Tremaine and her daughters.
They walk on the street with Gaston, Maleficent, and the Evil Queen.
The Evil Queen showed off her cape skills.
Cruella de Vil rode in the jitney at the end of the cavalcade.
The Halloween Cavalcade replaces “Magic Happens” for the fall. It’s performed at 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. daily (weather permitting).
