A menu features Halloween-themed items: Pumpkin Spiced Fritters for $6.99 and Pumpkin King Cold Brew for $7.29. The design includes pumpkins, ghosts, and a spooky Halloween background.

Both items are available through November 14. Mobile order is offered at Royal Street Veranda.

We were stunned at the $7.29 price of what is ostensibly a regular cold brew. But the presentation, taste, and quality were fantastic. It tastes like a pumpkin pie, not a pumpkin spice latte. It’s still too expensive but it’s an incredible item.

The Pumpkin Spiced Fritters are light on pumpkin flavor but the spice comes through in droves. They are a solid, bready treat sweetened by a coating of sugar.

The cream cheese dipping sauce isn’t necessary but is welcome. The fritters are delicious either way.
