A new lounge inspired by Spaceship Earth is coming to EPCOT, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro announced during the Horizons showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
New Spaceship Earth Lounge Coming to EPCOT
The lounge is inspired by the stories, shapes, and enduring legacy of the park’s timeless icon. It features geometric shapes inspired by the sphere. It will have rich textures and warm metallic tones for a mysterious, elegant, and intimate vibe. Disney Parks Blog described it as a “zen space for families to gather and enjoy refreshments.”
This lounge will take the place of the former Siemens lounge attached to Spaceship Earth and will open in 2025.
