Candy Cauldron has soft reopened to guests at Disney Springs after a month-long closure for refurbishment.
Candy Cauldron Reopens
Candy Cauldron closed for its refurbishment in August 2024.
While we didn’t notice much change inside, we did see that the cash wraps have been updated.
The front of the cash wraps are now mostly brown instead of fully emulating the Evil Queen’s heart box from “Snow White.” The heart and dagger are still present but are now flanked on the left and right with brown wood and gold accents with three-pointed crowns.
The mural along the back wall appears the same as before, depicting the Evil Queen’s secret lair.
Guests queue around the center of the store. Temporary stanchions have been set up to keep lines organized.
The Old Hag statue stands watch at the doors above multiple shelves of candy.
We spotted new Disney Villains-themed packaged candy, including Cruella De Vil Cookies & Cream Bar-k and Ursula Sour Octopus Gummies.
Another section of the display offers Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” treats and Jack Skellington mugs.
The final side offers generic Walt Disney World candy, including peppermint patties and malt balls.
Two new frozen drink machines have been added behind the counter to serve Candy Cauldron’s new Frozen Glaciers, with alcohol options available for an additional cost.
Here, you can see Fanta Wild Cherry, Coca-Cola, and Fanta Blue Raspberry available and ready to serve. When we visited, Minute Maid Lemonade was not ready to serve just yet.
The menu is on display just above the machines. Standard Frozen Glaciers are priced at $5.99 and Frozen Glaciers with alcohol are $13.50 each. Alcohol options include rum, tequila, vodka, whiskey, and cinnamon whiskey. A Cauldron Brew Glacier is also available for $8.99, with additional toppings for $1 each.
Along one wall is the organ-inspired display of candy dispensers. Bagged general candy is to the left of the display, with bagged blue and pink cotton candy to the right.
With Candy Cauldron reopened to guests, you can once again get your Candy “Poison” Apples, or regular Cherry Candy Apples if you prefer.
We also spotted a “Poison” Apple Cookie.
Other treats in the case appear to be the same as those available in the parks.
There are some Werther’s Original items in the case, as well!
