Disney Halloween Time Begins at Hong Kong Disneyland

Disney Parks Blog revealed details regarding the new and returning Halloween experiences for “Disney Halloween Time” at Hong Kong Disneyland. The seasonal event began today, September 13, and runs through October 31.

New Limited-Time Disney Hero and Villain Duos

Several Disney heroes and their villainous counterparts will debut this Halloween season. The duos include:

  • The Queen and Snow White
  • Maleficent and Aurora
  • Jasmine and Jafar
  • Megara and Hades

New Halloween Décor and Halloween Character Costumes

Mickey & Friends, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Duffy & Friends, and more will also appear in their Halloween best for photo opportunities.

A new signature giant Mickey pumpkin head will be available for guests to take photos with. Mickey wears a black top hat with a feather and bat. His smile has two pointy fangs.

The Return of House of De Vil-lains and ‘Let’s Get Wicked’ Stage Show with New Additions

The Cruella de Vil-hosted stage show starring iconic villains such as the Queen, Yzma, and Hades is returning from last year’s party. The show features dancing, singing, and acrobatics. New to the performance are appearances from iconic villain sidekicks including Pain and Panic, Kronk, and the Queen of Hearts’ Card Soldiers.

The award-winning Halloween musical “Let’s Get Wicked” is also returning. This show stars Maleficent, Ursula, Gaston, and many more Disney Villains.

Halloween Street Party

A parade at Hong Kong Disneyland features a large, carved pumpkin float with a Mickey Mouse figure on top, surrounded by costumed characters, taking place in a decorated street with buildings and greenery as part of their Halloween offerings.

The “Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party” daytime parade returns this year. It features Halloween music and dancing with Mickey & Friends, Duffy & Friends, and more. All characters will be dressed up in Halloween-themed outfits!

Lady Tremaine and the evil stepsisters Anastasia and Drizella will make their debut at this year’s party. They will arrive before “Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party” and “search for their perfect bachelors.”

Seasonal Food and Nightmare Before Christmas Dinner Party

New snacks, drinks, and desserts will be offered across the park for Halloween. The offerings include:

The River View Cafe will host “Jack Skellington’s The Nightmare Before Dinner.”The space will be decorated to resemble Halloween Town from Tim Burton’s beloved film and the food will all be themed. Offerings include the “Buggy Bew” welcome drink, “Trick or ‘meat'” entree, and more. Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and other characters from the film will make appearances during dinner.

New ‘Disney Halloween Time’ Merchandise

Assorted Halloween-themed plush toys, featuring characters with various costumes and accessories, are arranged on a themed background with a carved pumpkin and Mickey Mouse decorations. These delightful Halloween offerings are perfect souvenirs from Hong Kong Disneyland.

New seasonal merchandise was revealed, including candy bags and buckets that can be used on the Trick-or-Treat Trails for candy and other sweets. These trails can be found at Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Toy Story Land, and more.
