In honor of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, Miguel, the protagonist from “Coco,” is joining Mariachi Cobre during their performances.

People, including Mariachi Cobre and a character reminiscent of Miguel from Coco in a maroon costume and large sombrero, perform for a crowd at an outdoor event.

Beginning September 15 and continuing through October 15, Miguel is joining the traditional folk musicians for outdoor performances in the Mexico Pavilion of World Showcase. Performances can be affected by weather, so be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date showtimes.

Miguel followed after the band was wrapping up their set, making his entrance at the end of the performance. Likely to keep the celebrity from overheating. Mariachi Cobre began to play the iconic song, “Remember Me” from “Coco” and Miguel came out and danced with the band and crowd for a few more songs.

Miguel wore his traditional Charro outfit, complimenting what the Mariachi Cobre already wore. His gold and maroon sombrero matches the rest of his costume.

He did not stay for a meet and greet at the end but did dance with the crowd.
