Award Wieners at Disney California Adventure has introduced two new seasonal menu items for the fall: Torta de Milanesa and Stuffed Pan Dulce.

Award Wieners is in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure. The venue’s standard menu includes hot dogs and fries. The Zero straw clip and Mickey jack-o’-lantern sipper are also available here for Halloween Time.

Torta de Milanesa – $15.99

Beef Milanesa with Grilled Ham and Panela Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickled Onions, Jalapeños and Avocado Spread on a Telera Roll, served with Cuties Mandarin Oranges or Filmstrip Fries

We had a lot of thoughts about this sandwich when we took our first bite: spicy, heavy, cheese, creamy, spicy again. You do have to sit down to eat it because there is so much inside and it falls apart easily. It’s also literally heavy because it’s so large. It’s nothing offensive but we probably wouldn’t get it again.

Stuffed Pan Dulce – $8.49

Cream-filled Pan Dulce with Macerated Berries

This tastes like a strawberry shortcake. It has a good flavor and is kind of refreshing. The cream isn’t too sweet but the sugared shell is. It’s very dry.
