PHOTO REPORT: Disney Springs & Hollywood Studios (‘Inside Out 2’ Custom Plush Headbands, ‘Song of the South Removed’, & More) 9/16/2024

Hello Yellow from Disney Springs this morning! Today is the day! The new “Inside-Out 2” custom ears will be released! Are you excited? Because I am…Even though Tom already got me an Anxiety one from Hong Kong while he was living in Japan 🇯🇵 ありがとう!トーマス。感謝永遠!

A hand holds a headband with a plush character resembling bread and lettuce in a public area with buildings and an escalator in the background, reminiscent of the fun details you might spot at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I like to put customizable headpieces on my burger ears from Tokyo Disneyland.  I put my Anxiety on the burger today and showed off my emotions to the community before Disney Ever After opened.

A line of people stands outside a white building with an "EVER AFTER" sign on it. Trees and a colorful "Fall into Savings" sign are visible in the background, reminiscent of scenes at Disney Springs. The sky is cloudy.

There was already a line for Disney Ever After at 9:30 a.m. I didn’t see many bloggers in line. (Surprised!!)

A Cast Member announced they would open early at 9:45 a.m. and told us there was a limit of five for each character.  With only five of each character per guest, the war began, as everybody was grabbing the heads and throwing them in their basket.

A hand holding various cartoon character plush keychains in a store at Disney Springs. More plush toys are displayed in the background on shelves, capturing the magical atmosphere perfectly.

What’s funny is it’s impossible to have more than four heads on a headband, and you can barely fit five.

A hand is holding three plush headbands featuring characters with different facial expressions: one blue, one orange, and one green, perfect for a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The above photo properly shows my emotions when doing food reviews: Ennui, Anxiety, and Disgust.

A person holds a headband with plush cartoon characters; in the next image, the person wears the same headband while smiling and taking a selfie at Disney Springs.

From now on, when I do my food reviews, I will wear this so everybody can see my true emotions!

A hand holds a clear plastic cup with iced coffee in front of the entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios on a sunny day.

I got back in my care and “skrr skrr” to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

I bet you didn’t expect the first photo from the park to be a $1 McDonald’s iced coffee. (Use the McDonald’s app to get your $1 any-size iced coffee!)

Two jackets on display: the left jacket is blue with an image of a cartoon dog and the text "PLUTO," while the right jacket is dark with colorful graphics and text "Disney Friends" on the front. Seen in our latest PHOTO REPORT from Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I finally found a reversible Mickey and Friends windbreaker at Mickey’s of Hollywood.

The price was $69.99.  To be honest, I thought it would be around $84.99.  The quality is really good. It’s nice and thick.  I can see myself wearing it somewhere that’s cold (So, not in Florida).

Display shelf with Disney-themed merchandise, including clothes, bags, and headbands arranged on multiple tiers—perfect for those who love shopping at Disney Springs or reminiscing about their day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Still no spirit jersey for September’s Disney Eats series.

A pond with clear water, surrounded by greenery and tropical plants, evokes the charm of Disney Springs. There's a small tan beach area with white tubing, while a fence and walkway in the background give it an organized feel.

Today’s Animal Break: Disney ducks were napping at Echo Lake. Do you see them in the bushes?

Sometimes I wish I could be a Disney duck or bunny.  They are living the best Disney life.  The ducks were fed some popcorn even though guests shouldn’t feed them.  *Please do not feed me any corndog even if I become a Disney duck.  Thank you so much.

Theme park area with people walking. Central backdrop includes sci-fi structures and signage reading "Tours." Trees and cloudy sky visible, reminiscent of a scene you'd find in a photo report from Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I checked on my AT-AT, and he’s doing just fine.

Boxes of the Starspeeder 3000 Vehicle Playset from Star Wars are displayed on store shelves at Disney Springs, showcasing the product's features with colorful graphics.

They still have Star Speeder 3000 at Tatooine Traders. If you are still looking for it, be sure to grab it while supplies last.

A theme park area at Disney's Hollywood Studios features brick buildings, a large Muppet statue, and a fountain with frog statues. Under a cloudy sky, people are walking around. This PHOTO REPORT captures the charm and liveliness of the scene perfectly.

For at least one more day, The Muppets are marked safe from any changes.

A storefront with "TOYS" written above the entrance, decorated for the holiday season with garlands and fake snow. A lamppost with a "NO PARKING" sign stands in front, reminiscent of charming scenes found at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Our unofficial intern told me she bought a ticket for Jollywood Nights because she wanted to meet Duffy.  But then I realized Duffy might meet the guests during the daytime which is what he did last year…

I am sure she will have a great time even if she doesn’t get to meet Duffy. Personally, I am looking forward to seeing the ice skating show this year.  I have an annual pass at SeaWorld Orlando just to see the ice skating show they do during the holiday season.  I can’t wait to compare the two ice skating shows this year!

People are gathered in a queue surrounded by lush greenery and trees, with metal poles and outdoor lights visible. The sky is overcast, adding a dramatic backdrop to the scene at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I then walked into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.  Today might have been the busiest day in the last three weeks.  At Rise of the Resistance, the line was filling out the outside queue which has not happened for a while.

Dok is back to work, but he kept showing me his back… The way he was moving was really smooth though.

People walking outside a round, stone-like building adorned with colored banners and partially shaded by a tree, under a cloudy sky, create the perfect scene for a photo report at Disney Springs.

Over at Oga’s Cantina, they took off the lighting in October 2023 and it hasn’t made it back yet.

A circular building with a weathered, beige exterior, rustic hanging lanterns, and blue and red vertical banners hangs against a cloudy sky, reminiscent of the architectural charm seen in Disney Springs.

I took the picture above in October 2023. You can see a few lights hanging from the ceiling.

People seated at outdoor tables beneath green umbrellas in a park setting with greenery and trees, on a partly cloudy day, reminiscent of the cozy spots found in Disney Springs.

Once again guests from Woddy’s Lunch Box are eating at the temporary seating area between Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land. The old seating area was demolished, so who knows how long it will be before this temporary fix is gone.

Two small stacks of red high chairs are arranged side by side on a paved area next to a grassy spot. A yellow and green waste bin is visible to the right. PHOTO REPORT from Disney's Hollywood Studios captures this charming, everyday scene with perfect detail.

I am not envious of the baby who has to sit in the highchair that has been left out to cook in the sun. It is not a black highchair so won’t hold much sunlight, but it’s warm enough for the baby’s skin.  (Yes, I touched it.)

I would love to see an umbrella by the highchair so the babies won’t burn their skin when their parents sit them in.

A billboard with characters from Disney Jr., including Bluey, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, and others. The text reads "Disney Jr. Let's Play! Now Available." Check out the latest photo report featuring this vibrant display at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

My tiny wish that I had before D23 was that a Bluey meet and greet would come to Hollywood Studios and replace Fancy Nancy or Vampirina’s meet and greet.

Since Monsters Inc. is likely taking over the Animation Courtyard area, it’s really unlikely that my tiny wish is going to come true.

A mural featuring a man in a suit and classic animated characters, including a mouse in medieval attire and a bird with a bonnet, engaged in various activities, set against a colorful backdrop reminiscent of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

At Walt Dinsey Presents, we lost our “zipping man” (That’s what I called him), as the “Song of the South” reference was removed. So long my friend.

Entrance to the "Voyage of the Little Mermaid" attraction displaying a sign with characters Ariel, Flounder, and Ursula from Disney's "The Little Mermaid," with a palm tree and a building in the background at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

There was no change at Voyage of the Little Mermaid.  It’s already mid-September, and Disney said the attraction would open in fall 2024.  According to Google, September 22nd will be the first day of the fall.  So I guess they still have time.

A display allows customers to create their own headbands, featuring various themed parts and accessories. A sign above and an instructional board in the center guide the customization process at Disney Springs.

At Beverly Sunset, they did not have the “Inside Out 2” customizable headband yet.  I am sure it will arrive when the madness is over.

Visitors stand in front of a large red guitar sculpture at the entrance to a music-themed attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, with palms and a poster of rock musicians in the background.

As soon as I walked by Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, the “Phineas and Ferb” theme song popped into my head: “There’s a hundred and four days of summer vacation, And school comes along just to end it.”

Tall pinkish-brown building with "Hollywood Tower Hotel" sign, surrounded by palm trees under a partly cloudy sky. People walk by in the foreground, capturing the essence of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

That’s all for today!  I hope this was entertaining enough and brought you a laugh…

I am heading to Miami for Ohtani’s game. Yes, sometimes I represent my nationality and also have a life outside of Disney properties.

I will be back in the Most Magical Place on the Earth later this week and will write another edition of Nana’s Disney Princess Diary (aka this crazy Disney Adult Photo Report) .

Have a magical day and see you real soon!
