The popular jewelry brand Pura Vida will open a retail location at Disney Springs later this year.
Pura Vida at Disney Springs
Pura Vida is set to open a store at Disney Springs. The retail location takes over the storefront that was the former home of Melissa Shoes, which closed in 2023. The popular jewelry store will be located right next to Anthropologie in Town Center.
No official opening date has been announced but a Reel shared by the Pura Vida Instagram account stated that the store would be opening in 2024.
Pura Vida was founded in 2010 by Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman. Thall and Goodman were inspired by Costa Rican culture while vacationing there together following college. This inspiration led to them bringing 400 hand-crafted bracelets back to the United States.
The company initially sold a few bracelets per week, but it now sells millions worldwide every year. To give back to the community, Pura Vida has donated over $5 million to over 300 charities worldwide.
The store will be the latest addition to the ever-evolving Disney Springs. Earlier this year, Ever After Jewelry Co. closed, then reopened as Disney Ever After. In the West Side of the entertainment and shopping district, Disney’s Candy Cauldron is currently closed for refurbishment.
