We saw logs testing on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland this week while construction continues.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction

A yellow house with green trim is under construction, surrounded by scaffolding. Trees partially frame the view, and a clear blue sky is in the background at Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Scaffolding remains up around the entrance to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is now yellow and green. It’s a similar color scheme to the round barn in the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue at Magic Kingdom. The building was previously brown when the ride was Splash Mountain.

Construction scaffolding surrounds a building under renovation, partially obscured by trees. Nearby, a wooden fence with a sign indicates the area is under construction.

Some new light fixtures are also visible around the main entrance. Some are still covered in plastic.

A hill covered with greenery and a cave-like entrance at its center. Construction scaffolding and a ladder are visible in front of the hill.

Work continues on the ride’s millhouse, which got new roofing. Green moss details have been added over some of the new shingles.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Testing

A mountainous structure covered with greenery, surrounded by trees with a clear blue sky in the background. Construction materials and signs are visible at the base.

From the Mark Twain Riverboat, we saw logs dropping down the mountain (which is a salt mine in the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure story).

An outdoor amusement park attraction resembling a mountain covered in greenery, with "Tiana's Foods" signage visible on a water tower nearby.

No water was running down the drop but it was in the flume at the bottom of the attraction.

We got a good view of logs running through this section of the flume. The logs are the same vehicles Splash Mountain used, but with the Br’er Rabbit carving removed from the front.

A partially-drained water ride area is surrounded by green construction fencing. The ride's track, water features, and rock structures are visible, with vegetation throughout the scene.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is scheduled to open on November 15, 2024. As part of the attraction’s creation, Critter Country was renamed Bayou Country. The Briar Patch and part of Pooh Corner will become Tiana’s Bayou Adventure gift shops Louis’ Critter Club and Ray’s Berets. The land’s Hungry Bear Restaurant is also becoming the Country Bear-themed Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree.
