The side of the box suggests that the gold plating can be removed from the head to reveal the wiring and mechanics inside C-3P0, reminiscent of his appearance in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.” One of these wires can be moved to bypass C-3PO’s protocol and allow him to translate forbidden Sith secrets like in “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker.” While in this mode, his eyes will glow red instead of the usual yellow.
