Universal has installed construction walls around Pizza Predattoria at Jurassic Park in Universal Islands of Adventure.

The construction walls are in front of the Pizza Predattoria building, starting under the sign and wrapping around the right side. The pizzeria remains open during construction.

An A-frame sign at the corner points to the standard entrance and the wheelchair-accessible entrance.

the walls don’t actually surround any parts of Pizza Predattoria. Rather, they block a section of the sidewalk and leave a couple of feet open in front of the restaurant’s queue. This suggests the walls are blocking refurbishment work on the pavement.

The walls run up to a wooden fence and stone wall in front of Pizza Predattoria. A kiosk with napkins and cutlery was moved up against the walls, next to the fence.

Jurassic Park in Universal Islands of Adventure also serves food at Thunder Falls Terrace. The land’s rides are Jurassic Park River Adventure, Pteranodon Flyers, and VelociCoaster. Jurassic Park River Adventure will close for refurbishment in January. Pteranodon Flyers closed in April with no reopening date but is still listed on the Universal Orlando website.

Other attractions are the Jurassic Park Discovery Center and Camp Jurassic play area. Guests can meet Blue the Raptor from “Jurassic World” at the Raptor Encounter.

Guests can also enjoy the world of “Jurassic Park” at Universal’s Great Movie Escape in Universal CityWalk.

The first “Jurassic Park” movie was released in 1993. Directed by Steven Spielberg, it was based on Michael Crichton’s 1990 novel. The success of the film spawned two sequels, followed by the sequel series “Jurassic World.” The first movie in a new trilogy, titled “Jurassic World Rebirth,” is in the works with Scarlett Johansson starring.
