1-Day tickets for the grand opening day of Epic Universe are sold out for Annual Passholders after going on sale on Thursday morning.
1-Day Epic Universe Tickets
Ticket sales opened at 5 a.m. ET. By 6:30 a.m., Passholders attempting to buy 1-Day tickets were greeted with a message saying 1-Day tickets for the opening day of May 22, 2025, are currently unavailable. Ticket sales were also temporarily paused around that time.
Tickets for the grand opening day were $156, the same price as several other days in May and June. The Friday – Monday after opening are $164 each, the highest price in the first month and a half.
Universal also warned Passholders that they were experiencing “longer than anticipated wait times” due to high demand. At 8 a.m., our estimated wait time was “more than an hour,” with an expected arrival time on the website of 3:08 p.m.
As of 8:02 a.m., Universal shared a message stating Passholders should allow an extended period to receive their order confirmation.
2025 Epic Universe tickets went on sale to the general public on October 22, but only as part of multi-day Universal Orlando Resort tickets. Passholders are currently the only guests who can purchase 1-Day Epic Universe tickets. Universal stated they do intend to introduce Annual Pass options that include Epic Universe at a later date. There will also be soft openings for Passholders but details haven’t been announced. Reservations are also open for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, the in-park Epic Universe hotel.
The new Universal Orlando Resort theme park will include five lands: Dark Universe (featuring Universal Monsters), How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and Celestial Park.
