A Hurricane Warning has been issued for Orange County, Florida, the home of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.

The National Weather Service has issued the following Hurricane Warning for parts of Florida, including Orange County, the home to both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort:
National Weather Service: A HURRICANE WARNING is in effect for this area for dangerous and damaging winds. This warning is issued up to 36 hours before hazardous conditions begin. Urgently complete efforts to protect life and property. Have food, water, cash, fuel, and medications for 3+ days. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FROM LOCAL OFFICIALS.

Walt Disney World has already made some changes to its policies, such as updating its reservation policies, waiving cancelation fees, and blocking theme park reservations for October 9. A State of Emergency was declared on October 5.
Disney also announced that Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9.
