According to Scott Gustin, several guests outside the U.S.A. have been able to pre-book Lightning Lane access this week before arriving in the country.

Walt Disney World launched advance Lightning Lane purchases this summer but only to guests in the U.S. and Canada. International guests would not be able to make selections until they are in the U.S. It seems this policy has quietly changed. There appears to be no more reference to the restriction on the Walt Disney World website.

Eligible resort hotel guests can purchase and book Lightning Lane options 7 days before their stay. All other ticket-holders can book 3 days in advance.
