The Disney Parks Blog has revealed a first look at the finisher runDisney medals for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend.
runDisney Medals for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend
The 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will be held from January 30 through February 2, 2025. The weekend will include yoga, four different races (including a Star Wars-themed race), two challenges, and courses through both parks and the neighboring areas.
Registration for the race weekend was originally scheduled to open on June 18, but was postponed to July 2 following technical difficulties.
Disneyland 5K
This finisher medal features Groot, the host of the Disneyland 5K for 2025. Runners will have to “rocket” through the 3.1-mile course to earn this medal.
Disneyland 10K
Moving hyperspeed through 6.2 miles will earn the Star Wars-themed Disneyland 10K finisher medal for 2025. This medal features Ahsoka Tano, wielding her two lightsabers.
Disneyland Half Marathon
The Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend medal for 2025 features Safari Mickey Mouse on a gold medallion designed to look like a compass. Runners will receive this medal after completing the 13.1-mile course.
Dumbo Double Dare
Runners who go the extra mile and complete both the 2025 Disneyland 10K and the Disneyland Half Marathon will earn the Dumbo Double Dare finisher medal, featuring the lovable flying elephant in shades of blue, orange, and yellow.
runDisney Kids Races
Finally, the runDisney Kids Races finisher medal features Dug from Disney and Pixar’s “Up,” in shades of blue, red, orange, and yellow.
