Snow Caps Already Added to Sleeping Beauty Castle

On today’s trip to Disneyland Park, we discovered that Christmas has started early this year, as some snow caps have already been added to the roof of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

It may only be October 14, but some snow caps have already been added to the roof of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This means that guests will not only experience all of the Halloween decor in the park for the rest of October, but they’ll also get a look at some classic Christmas decor.

The Sleeping Beauty Castle's turrets stand tall with their iconic blue rooftops against a clear, vibrant blue sky.

At this time, only the roofing in the center section of the castle and the tiny turrets and tall tower around it, have snow on them. We expect this to change in the coming days, as in past years, snow has been added to the other sections of the roof as well.

The bustling theme park street, adorned with Halloween-themed Mickey Mouse pumpkins and orange garlands, guides visitors toward the enchanting Sleeping Beauty Castle backdrop, creating a magical Disneyland experience.

Just how early is this? Last year, we didn’t discover snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle until October 18. So while snow caps aren’t making their debut much earlier than last year, they’ve still been added ahead of schedule.

Our photo above is from October 29, 2023. You can see that much more snow is set to be added to the roof and surrounding turrets.

What do you think of Sleeping Beauty Castle having snow on it in mid-October? Are you happy that the two holidays are mixing? Let us know in the comments.
