The most magical place is gonna cost even more.
Another week, another report of soaring prices at Disney. While prices for Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices hit their highest surge point to date, Disney has announced even more price increases across the board. The price for an individual ticket rises to almost $200 a day, while the price of an annual pass will cost you another $100 this year. But there were also increases on snacks, valet parking, and refillable mugs. The vacation kingdom is getting to be a backbreaker for a family vacation.
Meanwhile, across the sea, in Tokyo, they have begun offering paid seating for shows. Is that coming here next? Speaking of expensive, the new Cake Bake Shop has finally opened its doors at Disney’s Boardwalk. Just days before opening, the bakery lowered some of its controversial high prices. While this seems like a victory for public outcry, the prices are still some of the highest on the grounds. Is $25 for a piece of cake worth it? Will you be going on your next trip?
Over in California, the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure draws near as Magic Key and Cast Members have already had the chance to ride. We’ll discuss the differences between the two. More changes are happening all around Bayou Country to welcome Tiana, including new narration on the recently reopened train, the opening of Ray’s Beret’s shop, and the Hungry Bear Jamboree is finally open for business.
Back on the East Coast, Universal opened tickets and vacation package sales for the much anticipated Epic Universe. Opening day tickets are sold out now, but passholders may have a chance to visit before then. Universal told Passholders that information regarding Passholder soft opening opportunities will be announced “in the coming months.” Epic Universe opens to the general public on May 22, 2025.
Plus, we’ll talk about the construction starting at Magic Kingdom, the Spiderman show at Avenger’s Campus might be on the chopping block, the boat crash during Fantasmic, and Much More!
