Disney’s Art of Animation Resort features unique decorations celebrating the resort’s artistic theme.
Art of Animation Resort Christmas Decorations
The garlands, wreaths, and trees throughout the resort lobby are white. Outside, these decorations feature black, white, and gray decorations.
The wreath above the door has a large paintbrush through its center. Instead of traditional ribbons, the wreath and garland have blank film strips running through them. There are character sketches alongside sparkly silver ornaments.
White garlands with silver bows and ornaments are wrapped around the columns of the porte-cochere.
In the entryway is another black and white wreath. It has a shiny silver bow on top. Its decorations include an oversized retro pen.
Inside, the white decorations feature bright colorful adornments, as though they’ve been colored in. They move in a rainbow gradient across the décor.
This wreath has a painter’s palette surrounded by blue, green, and red ornaments.
A tree near the entryway features a gradient of colorful ornaments from gray to purple. The trees are also decorated with sketches representing the different characters of Art of Animation’s main themes: “Cars,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Finding Nemo,” and “The Lion King.”
Below the chandelier of sketches, outside the Ink & Paint Shop, is a larger white tree. It’s wrapped in colorful ribbons emerging from large paint tubes. It also features film reels of character sketches.
Clusters of ornaments are all one color so the decorations create a gradient circling the tree.
The wreaths behind the check-in counters reflect the colors of the wall behind them, also moving in a rainbow across the wall.
These wreaths each feature a bow and ornaments of their respective color. In the center are four sketches.
